Woman left terrified as males attempted to enter car

Gardaí received a report from a lady that two males stepped out onto the road in Old Town, Fr Mc Loone Terrace and they tried to open her car doors as she travelled along. She locked the doors and drove away. 

“This was understandably a very upsetting and frightening incident for the lady concerned and we are anxious to further the investigation,” a Garda spokesperson has said. 

The incident occurred on Tuesday, December 12 between 9pm and 9:25pm

“We appeal to anybody who may have observed two males on foot in the area to make contact with Gardaí. 

“If anybody travelled in that area who had a dash cam we ask them to make the footage available to us also.”
