Patrick Gildea with Packy Lee, who plays Johnny Dogs in Peaky Blinders
One of the stars of Peaky Blinders was in Letterkenny today and popped into Gildea Farm Butchers for a few steaks.
Packy Lee plays Johnny Dogs, a cousin of the Shelby family. The Shelbys are headed by Thomas, who Irish actor Cillian Murphy plays. Peaky Blinders is a crime drama based in Birmingham, starting in 1919, several months after the end of the First World War.
"Nice of Johnny Dogs of Peaky Blinders to call in for few steaks," Gildea Farm Butchers posted after Lee posed for a photograph with Patrick Gildea, proprietor of the butchers at Oldtown Road.
Lee was born in Belfast and also appeared in the likes of The Shore and The Frankenstein Chronicles.
