Man arrested over theft of cars from Letterkenny garage

A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the theft of cars from a Letterkenny garage.

Three cars were stolen from the Ballyraine premises on the night of February 21. Gardaí say one man has been arrested, charged and brought before the courts in connection with the incident. They say investigations are ongoing regarding the other individuals involved in the thefts.

During the incident, the steel doors of the garage were forced open and entry gained. 

Three cars were stolen from the garage: a silver Volkswagen Passat, registration 151 DL 4501; a red Toyota Auris, registration 10 DL 16255 and a blue Ford Fiesta, registration 10 DL 16254. The blue Fiesta was recovered crashed across the border. 

Sets of car keys were also taken from the property during the burglary.
