Closure of turning lane at  junction on busy Letterkenny road announced by Donegal County Council

A junction on one of the busiest roads in Letterkenny is set to be closed for a number of days, Donegal County Council has announced.

The right turning lane entering the Cullion Road from the N56 four lane road, between the Polestar Roundabout and the Dry Arch Roundabout, will be closed from 7pm on Thursday, June 16, until 2pm on Monday,  June 20, 2022.

As a result of this, traffic will not be able to access the Cullion Road from the outbound land on the N56 4 Lane during this period.  Traffic will be able to access the Cullion Road by turning left from the inbound lane on the N56 four lane route.

The closure of the road will coincide with additional traffic in the Letterkenny area due to the staging on the Donegal International Rally.
