Six prosecutions brought to court over

Letterkenny Town Council is taking legal action against three car wash facilities in the town for alleged breaches of planning regulations.

Letterkenny Town Council is taking legal action against three car wash facilities in the town for alleged breaches of planning regulations.

The six cases being taken by the town council relating to three different sites have appeared before Letterkenny District Court.

The town council is prosecuting all six for alleged failure to comply with planning enforcement orders relating to unauthorisied developments at three locations in the town all on November 16th, 2010.

Tony Kelly of Drumnahoagh, Letterkenny and Sorin Carpaci of 9 Fortwell Court in the town are being prosecuted in relation to a site at Paddy Harte Road.

Brendan Kelly of Kelly’s Toyota Garage , Drumnahoagh and Marius Carpaci of 15 Fortwell Court, Letterkenny are being prosecuted over a site at Pearse Road.

Michael McMonagle of Priest Town, Carndonagh and Krzysztos Malec of 18 Cill Greine, Oldtown are facing charges over a site at Canal Road in the town.

All six cases have been adjourned until December 6th.
