Funeral of Lifford woman who died in Tyrone road accident to take place on Thursday

The funeral of a Donegal woman who passed away in a road traffic accident in Tyrone on Saturday will take place on Thursday.

Bernadette (Bernie) Cranley, who was from 5, St. Columba's Grove, Ballyduff Park, Lifford, and formerly of Kildare Road, Crumlin, Dublin, was aged 82.

She died following a collision on the Mellon Road between Omagh and Newtownstewart, near the Ulster-American Folk Park, at approximately 12.30pm on Saturday.

Bernadette was a much-loved mother to Rebecca, Simon, Nicola, and Sean, mother-in-law to Kathryn, Luke, and Clare, and a dearly cherished grandmother to Darcey, Louis, Lola, Patrick, Lexie, Sienna, Kiera, Elledie, and Zara.

She is sadly missed by her loving siblings Bridget, Louie, Paddy, Benny, Kay, and Tony, and is predeceased by her brothers and sisters Tommy, Clare, Fran, and Maura.

Reposing at her home on Wednesday, May 28, from 4pm. Funeral leaving from her home on Thursday, May 29, at 2:15 pm to St Patrick's Church, Murlog, Lifford for Requiem Mass at 3pm, which can be viewed live on the Parish Webcam. Private cremation will take place afterwards at Lakelands Crematorium. Family time, please, from 10pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral. No flowers, please.
