There was great excitement at St Mary's Stranorlar this week when Garda Shaun Patton visited the 'July Provision' groups with the Anglo-Celt Cup.

Donegal goalkeeper Patton helped Donegal win the trophy back in May and is now preparing for the All-Ireland SFC final against Meath this day week.

"He really enjoyed meeting everyone and was so happy to receive such a lovely warm welcome," An Garda Siochana Donegal posted. "Thank you to all at St Mary's NS"

The schoolchildren got to pose for photographs with the cup and Garda Patton even gave them a sneak look at his patrol car.
