A traffic-related incident and an alleged assault occurred in Lifford.
The incident took place between 3:15 and 3:30pm yesterday. The road incident occurred at the roundabout and the subsequent alleged assault occurred a short distance out of the Castlefin Road. The specific location was on the N15 just before the filling station.
“We appeal to anyone who may have been in that area with a dash-cam between those times to make the footage available to Gardaí,” Garda Claire Rafferty said. “If anyone witnessed either of these incidents, we ask them to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.”
