The book synopsis reads: “Erin O’Connor has spent her life fighting - first to survive, then to escape, and finally to take back what was stolen from her. After enduring brutal years in prison and forced fights in the Middle East, she returns to Ireland, a woman hardened by violence and betrayal. But home is not the sanctuary she once imagined. Dublin is haunted by ghosts of her past, none more dangerous than Fabio, the man who once controlled her - and who now thrives in the shadows of the city’s underworld.
“When Erin discovers the depths of Fabio’s corruption and intentions, she knows she can’t walk away. Not when innocent lives - like that of his new partner, Gemma - are at risk. But taking him down will require patience, precision, and a ruthless kind of justice that only she can deliver. As she stalks his every move, she finds herself spiralling into a darkness she thought she’d left behind. Revenge is intoxicating, but will it be her redemption - or her ruin?
