A water treatment plant interruption may cause supply disruptions in east Donegal today.

Ballybofey, Stranorlar, Glenfin, Raphoe, Convoy, Corry, Dooey, Rooskey and the surrounding areas are the areas that will be affected.

Works are scheduled to take place from midday until 4:30pm today, Tuesday, December 2. Donegal County Council have warned that the water outage alert may cause traffic disruptions in Convoy.

“We recommend that you allow three to four hours after the estimated restoration time for your supply to fully return,” the council said.

“Please take note of the following reference number and enter it into the search bar on the Uisce Eireann website should you wish to return for an update: DON00103148.”
