Students from Deele College and Royal and Prior Comprehensive met the President of Ireland, Catherine Connolly.
Three fifth-year students from each school attended an event in St Columb’s Park House, Derry, during the president’s visit to Northern Ireland.

“The students had the opportunity to share details of how their involvement in The PEACEPLUS programme has helped to foster strong connections between both schools,” Royal and Prior shared.
“They discussed the theme of Diversity in Harmony through their involvement in the musical, The Wizard of Oz, and other joint activities, such as an overnight stay in Cresslough. The students explained how working towards a common goal has and continues to develop a strong partnership between both schools and their communities.”
