Declan Meehan almost trebled his vote in the Milford LEA and has taken a massive step towards taking one of the three seats, with John O'Donnell currently looking like missing out.

Nine candidates are contesting the three-seat LEA which forms part of the Letterkeny-Milford municipal district. Sitting councillors John O’Donnell, Kilmacrennan (non-party), Liam Blaney (Fianna Fáil) and Pauric McGarvey (non-party) are seeking reelection.

In Letterkenny, there are seven seats and from the tallies yesterday, Donal Mandy Kelly looks in a very good position and looks like he should top the poll. 

Outside of that, there isn't expected to be a huge change although Kevin Bradley looks like he will be in a fight to keep his seat.
