There's been action aplenty in Donegal at five count centres, with the numbers being trotted out at the Letterkenny Aura Centre, the Highlands Hotel in Glenties, Carndonagh Community School, the John Bosco Centre in Donegal Town and Stranorlar's Finn Valley Centre.

Here's the state of play right now
Buncrana LEA: Joy Beard and Jack Murray were elected on the first count in the five-seater.
Carndonagh LEA: In a four-seater, Martin McDermott and Ali Farren surpassed the quota on the first count. That's it so far

Donegal LEA: Nobody elected. Six seats

Glenties LEA:  Michael McClafferty and Micheál  Mac Giolla Easbuig made it after one count. Four more seats to go.

Milford: Finished with all three in place. Declan Meehan made it on count four and in fifth count, Liam Blaney and Pauric McGarvey could not be caught
Letterkenny: Only one count in and Donal Mandy Kelly made the quota and can put the feet up. Long night ahead.

Lifford-Stranorlar: Of the six-seater, Martin Scanlon and Gary Doherty made it over the line on count five.
