Buncrana Garda Station
Gardaí are appealing for information after a man was found injured on Buncrana Main Street on Christmas Eve.
Shortly after 3am, gardaí received a report of a man lying unconscious on the main street. On arrival, gardaí found the man to be conscious. Gardaí believe the injured man received a blow to the head from another male who was not known to him.
The injured man was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital.
Anyone who may have witnessed the assault or who has any relevant information is asked to contact gardaí in Buncrana on 074 93 20540.
