There are over 50 people waiting on a bed in Letterkenny University Hospital (LUH) today.
The latest INMO figures reveal that 51 people waiting for a bed, making LUH the second most overcrowded hospital in the State today.
Twenty-six patients are waiting in the ED while the other 25 are located throughout the hospital.
Sligo University Hospital which treats patients from the south of the county, currently has 31 people waiting for a bed.
