The checkpoints were carried out at various locations throughout Inishowen
Vehicles have been seized by gardaí following a series of checkpoints across Inishowen.
Gardaí from the Buncrana roads policing unit were involved in the multi-agency checkpoints which also involved Customs officers.
The checkpoints were carried out at various locations throughout Inishowen on Thursday. A Garda spokesperson said a number of road traffic offences were detected at the checkpoints and a number of vehicles were also seized.
