One of Joe's students putting the final touches on his piece for Friday's exhibition in Falcarragh
The unique style and creative talents of a diverse class of local art students will go on display in Falcarragh at 7pm on Good Friday, April 7.
Their tutor, local artist Joe McClafferty is proud that this art exhibition showcasing the work of almost 20 of his students will offer something for everyone.
The participants attended his winter art classes, held in An tSean Bheairic, Falcarragh, which was funded by the Donegal Education and Training Board.
The various works will feature a variety of artwork, from colourful abstract and still-life paintings to realistic portraits and stunning landscapes. Media used include oil, watercolour, coloured pencil and ink.
Joe (above) is an accomplished artist who has been drawing and painting for most of his life. He is thrilled to be able to share his talent with budding artists and has been teaching art for many years.

The exhibition will be the first since the Covid-19 pandemic and will feature a range of styles from different artists, including some who are exhibiting for the first time.
Pádraig Mac Aodha, manager of An tSean Bheairic, expressed his delight, saying they are thrilled to host this exhibition and give these talented artists a platform to showcase their hard work over the winter months.
"We invite everyone to come and see the stunning artwork on display," he said.
