Frances Coll (née O'Donnell), Ranafast

The death has taken place in Áras Ghaoth Dobhair of Frances Coll, Ranafast and Glasgow. Predeceased by her husband John, brothers & sisters. Sadly missed by her daughters; Mary (Ranafast), Anne (Falcarragh) & Sarah-Ann (Glasgow), sons: Daniel, Neil Martin, John, Padraic & Maurice (Glasgow), sons-in-law Joe Greene & Tommy Mc Ginley, daughters-in-law Teresa, Cathy, Caroline, Bridie & Joslin, 18 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and extended family & friends.

Removal from Roarty's Funeral Home, Derrybeg (F92 DN4X) tomorrow, Wednesday, at 4pm to the family home in Ranafast. Rosary nightly at 8pm. House private after rosary until 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral Mass on Friday, 16th June, at 11am in St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church, Annagry, with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. The Funeral Mass can be viewed live on Kieran Roarty Funeral Director's Facebook page https://bit.ly/3DoIMm.

Patrick (Packie) Gallagher, Loughaskerry, Termon

The sudden death has taken place of Patrick (Packie) Gallagher, Loughaskerry, Termon, F92KD72. Predeceased by his father Hughie, (2012). Deeply regretted by his wife Bernadette, daughters Caroline & partner Shane, Roseleen & partner Jason, Christina & partner Shane, Emma & partner Dylan.

Sorely missed by mother Catherine, brothers Eddie & wife Angela, Lismonaghan, Manus & Jennifer, Chicago, Hughie & wife Theresa, Termon, Willie & wife Fidelma, Glenswilly and sister Rosie & husband Paul, Ballymaleel. Always remembered by extended family members, good neighbours and friends.

Packie's remains will repose at his late residence, Loughaskerry, from 4pm today, Wednesday, June 14. Funeral from there on Friday morning June 16 for requiem Mass at 11am in St. Columba's Church, Termon, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Family time, please, from 11pm to 10am and on the morning of the funeral.

Fintan Callaghan, Speenoge, Burt

The death has occurred at Beacon Hospital, Dublin of Fintan Callaghan (Callaghan's Electrical, Burt), Speenoge, Burt.

Beloved husband of Margaret, much loved father of Eimear and Dermot, father-in-law of Kevin and dear brother of Angela, Sylvia Carton and Dessie. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren, brother, sisters, his extended family and friends.

Fintan's remains will be reposing at his home from 11am on Wednesday, June 14. Removal Friday morning, June 16, at 10.30am to St Aengus' Church, Burt for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by interment in Burt Cemetery. Requiem Mass can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/burt.

Eleanor Connolly (née Carrigy), Rathmullan / Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Eleanor Connolly (née Carrigy), Crevary Upper, Rathmullan / Letterkenny, formerly Shalom Guesthouse, Ballyraine Road, Letterkenny peacefully in Letterkenny University Hospital, aged 62 years.

Deeply regretted by her loving husband Michael, sons, Colm and partner Elodie, Cain and wife Tanya and Damien and fiancée Rose, grandsons, Michael and Ruairí, brothers, James and Mark, extended family and friends.

Remains will repose at her home in Rathmullan. House private. Family and close friends are welcome on Wednesday, June 14, from 1pm until 9pm. Funeral mass on Thursday, June 15, at 11am in St Joseph’s Church Rathmullan. Burial afterwards in Rathmullan Cemetery.

Predeceased by his parents Johny and Rebecca, sister Elizabeth Cannon, brothers Jimmy, Packie and John. Beloved husband of Christina and loving father of Caroline, Bernard, Dympna, Catherine, Annmarie, Petrina, Michelle, Jonathan and Bernadette.

Sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughters, sons-in-law Grant, Paul, Abdel and Declan, grandchildren Michael, Shannon, Oisin, Brendan, Rebecca, Jamie, Megan, Lucas, Roisin, Sean, Conor, Ethan, Dyan, Ruby, Jack, Madison, Stafa, Josuha, Amira, Leah, Killian, Fatima, Mahmood, great-grandchildren Alan, Seamus, Noah, Mason, Izia, Rudi and Harley; brothers Mickey, Tony, Tom, George, sister Eileen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at McGowan's Funeral Home, Ballina on Thursday evening, June 15 from 5.30pm with removal at 7pm to St. Patrick's Church, Ballina.

Requiem Mass on Friday morning at 11am followed by burial in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.

The death has occurred peacefully at her home of Mary Angela Gillespie (née Sweeney), Lackaghmore, Portnoo, F94 XF85, formerly Moylehill, Milford, June 12.
Deeply regretted by her loving family, Honora Gyo, Anna Classon, Catherine Gillespie, Angela Molloy, Brian, Therese Boomer, Claire Andersson, Fiona Ryan, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, Fr Desmond Sweeney, Raymond and Alan, sisters, Sr Irene Sweeney, Lorna Lavin and Sr Claire Sweeney, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her husband Con, granddaughter Mary Ellen and brothers Kenneth and Ronan.

The death has occurred of Sheila Heery (née Wilson), Bundoran, June 12 peacefully at Culmore Manor, Derry, aged 93, beloved wife of Joseph (formerly of Belfast), loving mother of Angela, Michael and the late Sean, mother-in-law of Brian and Louise, devoted grandmother of Louise, Paul, Laura, Meghan, Niall, Louis and Danny, great-grandmother of Jamie and Jordon and dear sister of the late Thelma and Desmond.

Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects at her home, 20 Oak Country Green, Derry, BT47 6FU, on Tuesday until 10 pm. Funeral from there on Wednesday, June 14 at 9.30am for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass in St Columb’s Church, Chapel Road, Waterside. The interment will take place in Bundoran on Thursday, June 15.

Eileen Patricia Kelly (née Murphy), London / Newtowncunningham

The death has occurred of Eileen Patricia Kelly (née Murphy), (formerly of Old Kent Road, London) 22 Cornfield Lane, Newtowncunningham, F93 K352

Peacefully in Galway University Hospital. Predeceased by parents Michael and Annie Murphy and sister Mary Lewis. Deeply regretted by husband James, daughter Clare and sister Sheila Murphy. Fondly remembered by extended family members, neighbours and friends.

Funeral from her late residence on Thursday morning, June 15 going to All Saint's Church, Newtowncunningham for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by cremation in Lakeland’s Crematorium Cavan. Funeral Mass can be viewed live at https://www.churchservices.tv/newtowncunningham

The death has occurred of Aidan O'Hara, (Writer, Broadcaster and Historian), Chestnut Grove, Clonbalt Woods, Longford Town, Longford, N39 H9P0 and formerly of Inishowen, peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Pre-deceased by his parents Marjorie and James, sister Mona and brothers Brendan, Eamon and Colm.

Aidan will be remembered with love by his family, his devoted wife Joyce, daughter Kathleen, sons Sean, Brian and Conor, daughter-in-law Fionnag, son-in-law Brendan, grandchildren Eoghan, Laoise, Sorcha, Órla, Ró and Chloe, sisters Kathleen and Carol, his twin brother Mel, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence in Clonbalt Woods on Friday, June 16 from 5pm until 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection in celebration of Aidan’s life will take place in St Mel’s Cathedral on Saturday, June 17 at 10.45am followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium Cavan at 1.30pm.

The death has occurred of John Breslin, Meentullynagarn, Killybegs. Sadly missed by his sisters Rose and Nora (England), nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at McBrearty's Funeral Home, Killybegs.

Removal on Wednesday, June 14 at 10.30am to St Mary of the Visitation Church, Killybegs for 11am funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery. Mass will be streamed live on www.mcnmedia.tv

The death occurred on June 11 of Thomas (Tommy) Scott, Ballymagowan, Kerrykeel, Fanad.
Sadly missed by his loving wife Mary Elizabeth (Betty), his five sons Samuel, William, Daniel, Alan and Kenneth; daughters-in-law Donna, Lorna, Glenda, Pamela and Heather; grandchildren Samuel, Gary, Stephen, Karen, Carol-Ann, Barry, Victoria, Charlene, Craig, Joanna, Alison, Mary-Beth, Daniel, Peter, Ben Hannah and Kerrie and great-grandchildren Aoife, Dylan, Gemma and Cillian.

Remains reposing at the family home. Funeral service on Wednesday, June 14 at 2pm in Fannet Presbyterian Church, Kerrykeel with burial in Milford Presbyterian Church graveyard

John Conboy, Galway / Donegal

The death had occurred of John Conboy, originally from Galway, latterly, Donegal.

Private family funeral. The family welcomes donations, if desired, to the Tree Charity www.crann.ie as an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers.


Sadie McGee, Glenrothes / Bun na Leaca / Middle Dore

The death has taken place of Sadie McGee, Glenrothes, Bun na Leaca and Middle Dore.
She passed away very peacefully in hospital in Scotland on June 5 aged 94, with family by her side.

Requiem Mass will take place at St Paul’s, Glenrothes on June 27 at 10am, followed by interment in St Drostan’s at 11am, followed by a meal at Balgeddie House at 12 noon. Family flowers only, please.
