Coláiste Cholmcille are the front-runners in the Lidl Plus LGFA Stamp Card Compeititon that could see the school win €50,000 to invest in Ladies Gaelic Football at the school
Coláiste Cholmcille in Ballyshannon is leading the way in the Lidl Plus LGFA Stamp Card Competition for Ulster.
The Ballyshannon school has collected an amazing 60 stamp cards since the competition launched at the beginning of September.
As a result, Coláiste Cholmcille have won a set of Lidl-sponsored jerseys that will be designed specifically for their school and are still in with a chance of winning the main prize, having secured an automatic entry to win €50,000 to invest in facilities, equipment, or resources for Ladies Gaelic Football in their school.
All schools to collect a minimum of 50 stamp cards will also have the chance to win the €50,000 grand prize or three €10,000 runners-up prizes by telling the competition organisers why they should win and what LGFA projects they would spend the money on.
Chosen schools will be offered a place on the programme after the rewards scheme ends on October 22.
Currently, 349 schools across the country have collected 4,677 stamp cards overall.
Six schools across the country have collected over 50 stamp cards and are all in with a chance to win the €50,000 prize.
The first 10,000 stamp cards submitted will receive a limited edition LGFA 50th Anniversary Jersey that was designed by seven-year-old Aoife Callanan from Cork.
