Mary Faulkner (née Haugh), Church Rd, Bundoran

The death has occurred of Mary Faulkner (née Haugh), Fox's Lair, Church Rd, Bundoran, December 12 2023, peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Sligo University Hospital.

Beloved wife of Brendan and adored mother to Brian. Deeply regretted and will be forever missed by her loving family, her sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, her uncle and all her nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Mary Rest in Eternal Peace. Reposing at the Fox's Lair, Church Rd, Bundoran on Wednesday, December 13, from 12noon to 9pm. House private at all other times please.

Removal from there on Thursday afternoon, December 14, at 2.15pm to arrive at the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Bundoran for Mass of the Resurrection at 2.30pm. Burial afterwards in St. Ninnidh's Cemetery, Newtown, Bundoran.

Dr. Raymond Joseph Kerr, Church Rd, Bundoran

The death has occurred of Dr. Raymond Joseph Kerr, Church Rd, Bundoran. December 12, 2023 at his residence following a short illness, in the presence of his loving family.

Dearly beloved husband of Nuala, and much loved father of sons Richard (Deceased), Raymond & partner Claire, daughters Elizabeth & husband Alan Wenden, and Louise.

Sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving family, sister Renee Loughnane, Brothers Maurice and Gerald, brother-in-law Vincent Kennedy, sisters-in-law Regi and Helen Kerr, and Evelyn Nugent, and all his nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, colleagues, neighbours and friends.

Removal from there on Friday morning, December 15, at 10.45am to arrive at the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Bundoran for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Ninnidh's Cemetery, Newtown, Bundoran.

The death has occurred of Thomas Wilmot, 16 Brooklawns, Kinlough, Co. Leitrim, December 11 2023, unexpectedly at his residence.

Sadly missed and forever remembered by his loving partner Eimear Dunne, sons Josh and Lewis, parents Thomas and Muriel and all his relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Breslin's Funeral Home, West End, Bundoran F94 E92F on Thursday evening, December 14 2023, from 5pm to 8pm.

Thomas will be repatriated to Glasgow for Funeral Service and Burial at a later date.

Alice Mc Ginley (née Kelly), Crossmolina, Mayo / Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of Alice Mc Ginley (née Kelly), St. Patricks Avenue, Crossmolina, Co. Mayo, formerly Ballyshannon. Died peacefully at Moyridge Sonas Nursing Home Ballina surrounded by her loving family on December 11, 2023.

Predeceased by her brothers Patrick and Francis.

Deeply missed by her husband Sean, sons Gerard, Paul and John, daughters-in-law Ann & Angela, sisters Mary, Sheila & Pauline, grandchildren Brian, Stephen, Kevin, Fionn, Liadh & Aoibhinn, brothers-in-laws, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May she rest in peace. Remains reposing at Hiney's Funeral Home, Crossmolina (Eircode F26 DH95) on Wednesday December 13 from 5pm until 7pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday December 14 at 12 noon in St. Tiernan's Church, Crossmolina.

The death has occurred at the Donegal Hospice of Michael (Mickey) Barrett, Tara Court, Letterkenny and formerly of Tyroddy, Ramelton, Co. Donegal. Sadly missed by his wife Susan, son Michael, daughter Faye, brothers Jack (England), Eamonn (England) and William (Letterkenny), sister Nancy (Ramelton), brother in law Seamus and sisters in law Maureen and Margaret, extended family and friends.

The death has occurred of Martin Flanagan Brollagh, Belleek, Co. Fermanagh, suddenly, at his residence.

Remains will repose at Gilmartin's Funeral Home, Main St., Kinlough, Co. Leitrim, on Wednesday from 6pm to 9pm. Remains will arrive on Thursday, coming from Kinlough, via Brollagh Rd. to Mary, Queen of Peace Church, Garrison, for 11am Funeral Mass, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Grace Carr (née Carr), Gortnatrá North, Cashel, Fanad, Donegal / Lettermacaward, Donegal
Grace Carr (neé Carr) Gortnatrá North, Cashel, Fanad and formerly Dooey, Lettermacaward. Peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Eddie (2021), sisters Bridget Mc Grenaghan (Gortnatra) Eileen Carr (Doaghmore) and brother Eddie (Florida).

Grace's remains will repose at her late residence. Removal from there on Tuesday December 12 arriving at 6pm at St. Mary's Church, Fanavolty to repose overnight. Requiem Mass will held at 11am on Wednesday December 13 with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Sr Martina Hamilton, Ballyshannon / Dromahair, Co Leitrim

The death has occurred of Sr Martina Hamilton, St Catherine’s Convent of Mercy, Ballyshannon, formerly Killargue, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim.

Sr Martina passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in the loving care of the staff at St Phelim's Nursing Home, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim. Predeceased by her parents, her sisters, Roseann and Tottie.

Sadly missed by her brother, John, sister, Bernadette, sister-in-law, Bella, brother-in-law, Benny. By the St Catherine's Mercy Community, Ballyshannon and the wider Mercy Community of the Northern Province. By her nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

Her body, as was her wish, is donated for medical research.

The sudden death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Kelly Garrison Lane, Dromore, Crossroads, Killygordon. F93.R5XR. Beloved husband of Sadie, and much loved father of Claire (Mark), Karl (Aisling), Patricia (Nicolas), dearly loved grandfather to Conor, Céile, Odhrán Úna, Sophie, cherished brother of Isobel, John, Tommy, Margaret, Liam, Paul.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughters, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, daughter in law, sons in law, brothers in law, sisters in law, extended family and friends.

Remains reposing at his late residence. Funeral leaving from his late residence on Thursday December 14 at 10.30am for Requiem Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Crossroads, Killygordon at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.

The death has taken place on December 11 2023 at her home of Rose Peoples (née Doherty) 44 Castletown Court, Strabane and formerly of Coolatee, Lifford.

Beloved wife of Johnny, much loved mother of Wendy, Shaun, Deborah and Keith, mother-in-law of Tony, Lisa, Mark and Ciara, dearly loved grandmother of Dean, Kirsty, Brooke,

Blaine and Kian, loving great grandmother of Amira and sister of Sadie, Christina, Margaret, Geraldine, Carmel, Maureen, Pauline, Laurence, Liam and the late James, Bridie and John.

Funeral leaving her home on Wednesday (December 13) at 10.20am for Requiem Mass in St Patrick's Church, Murlog, Lifford at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Dr John Quinn, Ballyshannon / Roscommon

The death has occurred of Dr. John Quinn, Portnason, Ballyshannon, Co.Donegal and formerly of Clooneybeirne, Tulsk, Co. Roscommon.

Peacefully in the loving care of the Donegal Community Hospital, Donegal Town in his 100th year.

Predeceased by his wife Mai, brothers Martin, Tom and Paddy, sisters Kathleen and Martina.

John will be sadly missed by his heartbroken daughter Anne, sister Carmel (Blackrock), sister-in-law Rita (Tulsk), nephews Pat (Elphin), John (Chicago) Patrick-John, Anthony (Dublin), Martin P (Boston) and Michael (London), nieces Ursula, Kate (Tulsk), Shoana (Dublin) and Vonnie (New York), their partners Caroline, Jörg, Paul, Michael and Victor.

He will be forever remembered by all his grand nephew and nieces, extended family, neighbours and wide circle of friends. Especially Sharon who has played a very important role in John's life down through the last few years.

Reposing at McGee's Funeral home, Belleek Road, on Wednesday from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral to arrive at St. Joseph's Church, The Rock on Thursday for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon. With interment to the adjoining cemetery.

Packie will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Bridie, his daughters Lorraine & Clare, son-in-law Iain, grandsons Ben & Matthew, his extended family, friends and neighbours.

The death has occurred of Joe Gallagher, 7 The Cottages, Burnfoot.

Beloved husband of Margaret, much loved father of John, Patrick, Martin, Sharon, Deborah and Jason and dear brother of Brendan, Martin, Adeline, Rose and the late Jim.

Beloved husband of the late Margaret (née Dagg, Shillelagh) and cherished father of Sinead, David and John; John’s fiancée Vera, sister-in-law Nancy and brothers-in-law Billy, Robert and John, cousins Eileen and Anne and their families and his best friend Brian.He is sadly missed by his family, extended family, friends and relatives, former colleagues and neighbours.

The sudden death has occurred at his home of John Mc Bride of Carrickmcgarvey, Gaoth Dobhair.

Predeceased by his parents Michéal & Bridie and brother Paul. Sadly missed by his brothers Manus & Owen, sisters-in-law; Bridie & Mary, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

His remains will repose at Roarty's Funeral Home, Derrybeg (F92 DN4X)on Tuesday from 5pm to 6.45pm.

Removal afterwards to St. Mary's Church, Derrybeg for 7pm, to repose overnight. Funeral Mass on Wednesday December 13 at 11am, interment afterwards in Magheragallon Cemetery.
