Convoy could be given a major housing boost.
There are plans for the construction of 32 new houses in the east Donegal village.
Apex Housing Association (Ireland) CLG has sought planning permission for a new development at Convoy Townparks.
The company is seeking to develop 32 two-storey dwelling and all associated site works. That will include an upgrade of the existing vehicular access road and connection to the public services.
Donegal County Council say that a decision on the application is expected to be made by February 22, 2024.
Apex Housing Association (Ireland) CLG is a not-for-profit housing association led by a voluntary Board of Management, working to social enterprise principles and is also a registered charity.
Apex (Ireland) provides accommodation and related services for families and single people; people aged 60 and over; people with mental ill health; and people with learning disabilities.
“We provide housing for families and single adults and supported housing for older people and for those with intellectual disability and mental health issues,” the company says.
