Bundoran schoolboy Ollie Newell was the top fundraiser in the 2023 MS Readathon.

The MS Readathon takes place every November.

Thousands of readers, young and old, take part in raising awareness and vital funds to support the 10,000 people living with Multiple Sclerosis in Ireland.

In November, six-year-old Ollie from Bundoran read a staggering 38 books. In raising €1,410 he was the MS Readathon top fundraiser.

Each year, the MS Readathon - said to be one of Ireland’s oldest fundraisers having reached its 36th year - results in thousands of euros being raised to support people living with MS, children greatly improving their literacy skills and participants developing a lasting love of reading.
