The Donegal Women's Centre to host an information session on referendum

The Donegal Women's Centre are hosting an information session with speakers from the National Women's Council and Family Carers Ireland on how people in Donegal can get involved in the upcoming referendum.

On March 8, Irish citizens will be asked to vote in two referendums to change the Constitution.

The first Referendum is in relation to the concept of family in the Constitution. The second Referendum proposes to delete an existing part of the Constitution and insert new text providing recognition for care provided by family members to each other.

Organisers at the The Donegal Women's Centre are inviting people to join them this Friday at 11am for a panel discussion on the referendum. This discussion will be hosted by the Donegal Women’s Centre and the National Women’s Council and will take place in Donegal Women’s Centre on the Port Rd, Letterkenny.
