E-Scooter stolen from owner in Letterkenny as perpetrators fled the scene

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, one of the males was around 5 ft 6 and wore a black puffer jacket and the other was taller and wore a grey hoodie with the hood up

E-Scooter stolen from owner in Letterkenny as perpetrators fled the scene

The theft occurred on April 2 at approximately 8pm on the Long Lane

An E-Scooter owner was approached in Letterkenny by two males who took the vehicle from him and they fled in the direction of the hospital.

The theft occurred on Tuesday, April 2 at approximately 8pm on the Long Lane, Letterkenny.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, one of the males was around 5 ft 6 and wore a black puffer jacket and the other was taller and wore a grey hoodie with the hood up. The scooter has a black frame with red brake lines and the word ‘e-scooter’ in red writing on the footstand.

“We appeal to anybody who may have travelled in that area who had a dash cam to make the footage available to us,” a garda spokesperson said. 

“If anybody seen these males in the area or if they witnessed the incident we ask them to contact gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100. Should anybody have any information in relation to the current location of the stolen e-scooter then we also ask them to get in touch with us.”
