The Letterkenny Chamber of Commerce has been shortlisted for this year’s Chamber Awards.

The Letterkenny Chamber has been nominated for three awards, Digital Campaigns, Lobbying & Policy Campaign and Supporting Businesses.

The first nomination, Digital Campaigns is for Letterkenny Chamber Communicating with Excellence, the nomination in the second category mentioned is due to Letterkenny Chamber’s  North West City Region Value Proposition and the Supporting Businesses nomination is down to ShopLK leading the way in town gifting.

The Chamber Awards are taking place on Thursday, June 6 in the Killashee Hotel, Co. Kildare. The winners of each category will be announced at the Awards ceremony and the event will also award the overall prize of ‘Chamber of the Year’ to one outstanding Chamber.

The Chamber Awards is an annual celebration recognising the hard work and dedication of Chambers across the country in representing their members, engaging stakeholders and fostering vibrant and thriving local communities.

This year there has been 44 projects shortlisted across eight award categories, which showcase innovative communications campaigns, successful events, sustainable development initiatives, and creative collaborations between companies, local authorities and wider communities.

“The caliber of entries this year has been incredibly high and I’d like to commend each Chamber for demonstrating exceptional ambition, innovation and creativity,” Chambers Ireland’s President, Fiona Candon, said. “Chambers across the country are strong, vocal advocates for the businesses and communities they represent, and they contribute significantly to the overall growth and economic prosperity of the regions they serve.  The projects shortlisted demonstrate this focus on business advocacy, community spirit and willingness to collaborate.”

Chambers Ireland is the voice of business throughout Ireland, with 37 member chambers across every major city, town and region of the island. Chambers Ireland was selected by the Government as a National Champion of the UN Sustainable Development Goals in 2023.
