Donegal's Cairdeas na bhFidiléirí received the prestiguous Outstanding Contribution Award at this year's Gradam Ceoil TG4 Awards in Limerick at the weekend.

And there to present them with their award was renowned Donegal musician, Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh. 

This year’s Gradam Ceoil concert took place at the University Concert Hall Limerick on Sunday past, when the award recipients performed alongside musical collaborators.

With the event broadcast live, the electrifying atmosphere resonated far beyond the venue, making Gradam Ceoil a highlight in TG4's annual programming schedule.

Gradam Ceoil TG4 was established in 1998 to honour and celebrate individuals who have made significant contributions to Irish traditional music.
