Today marks 30 years of Judith McCarthy's as Curator of Donegal County Museum in Letterkenny
Judith McCarthy is a star that has been shining brightly with great intensity, albeit quietly and without any fuss throughout Donegal for the past number of decades.
And today marks 30 years of her being Curator of Donegal County Museum.
Her colleagues are so proud of her work over the years work from dealing with Dry Rot and building our extension, the hard work with blood, sweat and tears required to become one of the pioneering first museums in Ireland to be awarded accreditation under the Heritage Council’s Museum Standards Programme for Ireland (MSPI) and to achieve the 3rd Maintenance of Standards.
She is the longest serving Local Authority Museum Curator in Ireland.

Well done Judith!
