Cash and valuables stolen in double Bundoran burglaries

Two burglaries took place in Bundoran's West End, in both cases, entry was gained through a window and a sum of cash was stolen

Cash and valuables stolen in double Bundoran burglaries

Gardaí are investigating separate burglaries that occurred in West End Bundoran. 

In one case, damage was caused to a window at the front of a property and entry was gained. A sum of cash was stolen from a handbag within the house and the key to the back door was also stolen. This theft occurred between 11pm on Monday, July 8 and 7am on Tuesday, July 9. 

The second incident occurred on Thursday, July 11 between Midnight and 8am. A rear bathroom window was forced open and entry was gained. A purse was stolen from a coat pocket within the house. The purse contained gift cards, bank cards, a driving licence and a sum of cash.

“If anybody can assist with information we ask them to make contact with Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530,” Garda Claire Rafferty said. “The Garda Confidential line may be reached on 1800 666 111 in relation to these appeals or any of our appeals this morning.”
