Medical and gardai help needed for local Fanad resident after 'savage' dog attack

The Fanad Coastal Group posted a warning after a local resident needed medical treatment after a “savage” attack by a dog.

“A warning to all,” the Fanad Coastal Group posted afterwards. “A serious attack by a black and white collie was experienced today in the car park at ‘Din’s Beach’ car park Ballyhiernan Bay. The dog was with its owners but managed to savage an adult local resident’s arms and legs requiring medical and gardai assistance. Please be careful!”
