The mother of missing Cian Langelaan has issued a touching message on the fourth anniversary of her son’s disappearance.

Cian Langelaan, aged 27 at the time, was last seen on September 27, 2020 in the Horn Head area of Donegal.

His mother, Anthea Langelaan, in an emotional message, wrote: “You are so loved Cian and always will be.”

Anthea has continued her plea for information about her only child since he vanished four years ago.

She shared an emotional memory of the poem ‘On Children’ by Kahil Gibran, which was recited during Cian’s Christening at St Ann’s Church in Killult.

“It’s good to keep the happy memories alive,” she said.

Cian, approximately 5’8”, got a taxi from Letterkenny to Horn Head at around 10.30pm and the following day a carrier bag with his belongings was located where he was dropped off.

Cian is described as being of a medium build with sandy hair and blue eyes and he was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white T-shirt and black boots.

An Garda Siochana have reissued an appeal for any information.

A spokesperson said: “If anybody has any information in relation to the whereabouts of Cian or any information that might assist with the investigation, we urge them to contact Milford Gardaí on 074-9153060 or to call the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111.”
