Courtney Houston has been formally admitted as a lawyer to the Supreme Court in Sydney
A Donegal woman has been admitted as a lawyer at the Supreme Court in Sydney.
St Johnston’s Courtney Houston was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales last week.
A former student at Deele College, where she completed her Leaving Certificate in 2016, her journey had taken her Down Under.
In 2020, Courtney graduated with a BA in Spanish and Law from NUI Galway and a year later attained her LLB degree. She later completed her law extension program with Sydney University.
In late 2021, Courtney moved to Phitsanulok in Thailand, where she taught English, and moved on to Australia in May, 2022.

Having gained experience in a variety of areas such as property, wills and estates and litigation, Courtney has now taken up a position with Emerson Lewis Lawyers in Sydney.
It was a proud day last Friday, October 18, when Courtney was formally admitted to the Supreme Court as a lawyer.
