Kieran Drummond was honoured for his 30+ years of service
Colleagues in the Ballyshannon Fire Service have led the tributes to Station Officer Kieran Drummond who has been honoured for 30 years of service.
A spokesperson for Ballyshannon Fire Service took to social media to share news of the award, saying: “The crew of Ballyshannon Fire Service DL17 would like to extend a massive congratulations to our Station Officer Kieran Drummond on receiving his 30 year long service award today in County Meath.
“Kieran has actually been in service for 33 years now and is as dedicated today as he was 33 years ago when he joined.

“We would also like to acknowledge Kieran's wife Frances who has been a rock beside him for all those years, and to Kieran's children Eugene and Sarah who have had their sacrifices also as their Dad was on call.
“Kieran is a credit to the Ballyshannon Fire service and we as a crew are lucky to have a dedicated and passionate officer to work with.
“He will always share his valuable knowledge and skill to help us along the way in our job, so again, congratulations and well deserved.”
A spokesperson for Ballyshannon Business Chamber posted: “Congratulations to the main man Kieran Drummond on his well deserved award. We thank you for your service and support.”
