Ciara Doherty is leaving her role as a presenter of The Tonight Show
Ciara Doherty has confirmed that she will front The Tonight Show for the last time this weekend.
The Letterkenny native is to leave Virgin Media after fronting an election special.
Ms Doherty has worked with Virgin Media for 14 years, working on the Ireland AM show before taking up a role presenting The Tonight Show in 2020.
Ms Doherty and fellow presenter Claire Brock will both leave the show.
“I’ve decided to move on from late nights and early mornings to begin a new adventure,” Ms Doherty said on Instagram.
“Thank you to my incredible colleagues and friends, to all of our guests and especially to the viewers who joined me along the way.”

In October, Virgin Media reduced the number of episodes, going from four to two per week.
