Scoil Roisin is to get a new extension to include two new SET rooms
Scoil Roisin in Dungloe has been approved for the addition of two new special education rooms.
The school currently has an enrolment of 55 pupils and has eight full-time staff.
The new extension of two special education teacher (SET) rooms has been welcomed by Donegal TD Pat ‘The Cope’ Gallagher, who is a former pupil of Scoil Roisin himself.
“I want to compliment the school principal, the staff and the board of management for their dedication and hard work in progressing this project,” Deputy Gallagher said.
“As It is to be delivered by way of the developed system, it will now be a matter for the board of management to appoint an architect, who will then apply for planning, if necessary, and invite tenders.”

Deputy Gallagher said the new extension would be of “great benefit to the school community in the years ahead”.
