The 52 pupils of Gaelscoil na gCeithre Máistrí in Donegal Town have moved into their new building.
This move follows a long and challenging campaign for the school to have its permanent home after 25 years in prefabs.

Built over two stories, the new building has state-of-the-art classrooms, a pre-school area, staffroom facilities and a PE hall. The next phase will include a unit for pupils with additional needs.
The new pupils made the move to the new facility on Monday morning on their return from the mid-term break. And prospective pupils and their families had an opportunity to see the school for themselves at an open evening, also on Monday.
Principal Eoghan Ó Gráda outlined the school’s learning structures, explaining the benefits of a bilingual education in terms of cognitive development and cultural enrichment.
