A funeral service for Jenna Shovlin, the Portnoo native who passed away at the weekend, will take place on Saturday in New York.
The 31-year-old. Formerly of The Rock, Clogher West, Portnoo, died suddenly in Manhattan, sparking an outpouring of grief in south-west Donegal.
This Saturday, March 15, a funeral service will take place with visitation between 4-8pm, at Lynch’s Funeral Home, 43-07 Queens Blvd, Sunnyside, New York.
On Sunday evening, as part of the Lenten programme, there were devotions and rosary at St Conal’s Church Kilclooney in support of Ms Shovlin’s heartbroken family.
The Ardara GAA cub, in a statement, described news of her death as “devastating”.
"The news of her passing has left a black cloud over our Parish once more,” the club said.

“Jenna was a beautiful girl who had made a new life for herself in New York, and was a person who made a lasting impression on whoever she met, with a smile that lit up every room she went into.”
She worked with Warner Brothers in the United States, but kept firmly in contact with home.
She is survived by her heartbroken parents, Frankie and Kathleen, brothers Christopher (Tanya), Keith (Hannah), nieces Lilly and Jodie and extended family and friends.
