Donegal County Council will be able to further assist older and disabled individuals in living independently within their own homes
Older people and people with disabilities in Donegal will be empowered to stay in their homes independently for longer with funding of €4,435,373 announced.
This funding, confirmed by Housing Adaptation Grants for Older People and Disabled People, will help empower Donegal County Council to further assist older and disabled individuals in living independently within their own homes. It will ensure 13,000 older people and disabled people to live independently in their own homes across Ireland, many of them in Donegal.
Fine Gael Senator Nikki Bradley says the funding highlights the government’s commitment to supporting older people and those with disabilities to remain in their homes.
