The band will be climbing Donegal’s highest peak on Monday, August 11, weather permitting, and playing a tune after reaching the top.

The pipe band is raising funds for the upkeep of the band uniforms, the purchase of practice instruments and the maintenance of instruments.
Supporters are being encouraged to join in and if there are sufficient numbers interested the band will hire a bus for the event.
If the climb does not take place on August 11 due to the weather, the band will fulfil the goal on the next suitable day.
“We are looking for your help to raise much needed band funds so that we can continue to represent our community for many years to come,” a spokesperson for the band said.
Donations to the fund-raising effort can be made here.
