Donegal Firefighters Association has expressed its gratitude to everyone who helped support their annual fundraiser for local hospices.
Firefighters around the county washed cars and accepted donations on Saturday and the service says people's "donations and encouragement mean the world to us."

They posted: "We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who supported our annual fundraiser today. Your generous donations and encouragement mean the world to us. A special thank you to the Chief Fire Officer of Donegal Fire Service, Joseph McTaggart, for kindly permitting the use of fire service equipment, your support was instrumental in making the day a success.
"To our incredible Donegal Firefighters Association (DFA) members, thank you for giving up your time, energy, and enthusiasm to support these important causes. Your dedication truly reflects the spirit of community and service. All proceeds will be donated directly to our local hospices, who provide compassionate and vital care to those who need it most.
