The Woodvale team was recognised for their exceptional teamwork and commitment to person-centred support, enabling a resident with a history of high-risk behaviour to make a remarkable transition to a new home in Donegal. Through consistent, collaborative care and a focus on solutions, the team has helped reduce restrictive practices and incidents, while empowering the resident to fully engage in daily life and community activities.

With a focus on person-centred care, staff ensure the resident’s personal, social, and health needs are met while promoting active community involvement. Regular activities include walking, swimming, basketball, cycling, horse riding, and days out, supporting wellbeing and meaningful engagement.
