To date over Є15,000 has been raised for local charities and this year all donations will be going to Blood Bikes North West and Cancer Care West.

'Light It Up Letterkenny' to return for Christmas cheer to boost charities

The fifth annual CBM Signs Light It Up Letterkenny Christmas Tour will be back next month.

On Sunday, December 14, Letterkenny will light up in festive cheer as festive array of tractors, vans, trucks, classic cars, rally cars and motor bikes will once again Light Up Letterkenny. 

With each year there are more and more kinds of vehicles taking part and the crowds spectating are getting bigger and bigger.

To date over Є15,000 has been raised for local charities and this year all donations will be going to Blood Bikes North West and Cancer Care West.

“Everyone is very welcome and all you need to do is arrive on the night,” says Bernard Gallagher of CBM Signs. 

“All vehicles need to be roadworthy have drivers must have the relevant licence. No test pilots need apply!

“Get your LED lights, batteries and cable ties ready to Light Up Letterkenny. I would like to thank the Gardai and all the other people who support and help on the day as always.”

The event will get underway at 5pm on December 14, leaving from CBM Signs, and will cost €20 per vehicle.
