'The Operations Department has advised that Uisce Éireann cannot confirm a timeframe for the project as this project is currently at design stage'

"Uisce Eireann cannot confirm a timeframe for a project of works for the water mains serving Oileán Ghabhla.

They were responding to a query from Donegal county councillor Micheál Choilm Mac Giolla Easbuig which was sent on Tuesday, who stressed that it was a matter of concern for locals.

"I understand this issue has been a source of concern for you and your constituents," a spokesperson from Uisce Eireann replied in writing to Cllr Mac Giolla Easbuig. "The Operations Department has advised that Uisce Éireann cannot confirm a timeframe for the project as this project is currently at design stage."
