Donegal Inspector attends a conference on sing languages in Dublin

Inspector Paul Gallagher, Letterkenny, was delighted to attend a conference on 'Sign Languages on the Island of Ireland: Legislation, Policy and Practices' at Trinity College Dublin.

Multiple agencies and members of the deaf community worked in collaboration with each other to make the journey through the Sexual Assault Treatment Unit more accessible through the use of Irish Sign Language. 

"Well done to all involved and in particular to Donegal SATU for leading the way," An Garda Siochan Donegal posted. "A presentation was given in relation to the fantastic work that has been done."
