The current proposal would see physiotherapy services moved from Ramelton to Milford. These services, along with additional primary care space, would be co-located with Older Persons Day Services.
The additional space would accommodate physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietetics, and speech and language therapy services.
The development would be delivered through an operational lease rather than a new building.

In an update to Councillor Declan Meehan at this week’s Regional Health Forum, the HSE confirmed that the Expressions of Interest process will begin in the coming weeks, followed by a formal tender. Timelines and funding arrangements will be confirmed once this process is complete.
Welcoming the update, Cllr Meehan said there has been a “desperate need” for additional clinical space for primary care team members in Milford.
He welcomed the commitment given by the HSE produce the development through an operational lease and called for urgency on the process, starting with the commencement of the Expressions of Interest process as soon as possible.
