Timmy Boyle’s 30 years of service and upcoming retirement from his post with the Bunbeg Coast Guard were celebrated at the Caisleáin Óir Hotel.
An t'Athair Brian Ó Fearraigh led the tributes and described Timmy as “has led us with great integrity and care.”
“Comhghairdeachas agus buíochas ó chroí le Timmy Ó Baoill, Oifigeach Stáisiún, Garda Cósta an Bhun Bhig, atá ag dul ar scor i ndiaidh tríocha bliain de sheirbhís ar an stiúir,” Fr Brian said.

“Wishing Timmy Boyle every blessing as he retires as Officer in Charge of the Bunbeg Coast Guard Unit. His dedication, calm leadership and commitment to the safety of our community over the past 30 years have been truly remarkable.
“It is a fantastic privilege to be a member of this great team, a group of absolutely amazing people who give so much of their time and energy in service of others. Timmy has led us with great integrity and care. Go raibh míle maith agat, Timmy. Good luck to you, mate, and thank you for what you did for so long!"
