John and Margaret McGeehan with Jennifer Carr from the Alzheimer's Society
John McGeehan celebrated his 70th birthday in Letterkenny recently and has donated all the money raised to the Alzheimer's Society.
He was joined by his wife Margaret to make the presentation of a cheque for €6,320 to Jennifer Carr at the Alzheimer Society office in Ballybofey.

John, from Glenswilly, asked for no presents but instead for anyone who wished to donate to the charity, following the party, which took place at the Station House in Letterkenny
