Donegal IFA county chair Brendan McLaughlin
The Co. Donegal Executive of the Irish Farmers’ Association is set to introduce a hybrid model for its monthly meetings - and possibly other meetings.
The association had held numerous meetings online during the Covid-19 pandemic, but now many members want to see a return to in-person meetings.
Donegal IFA Co Chairman Brendan McLaughlin said that he would like to see a hybrid model.
While there are huge advantages of having in-person meetings, he acknowledged that the county is “100 miles long” and a hybrid model with the option of attending in-person or logging on online will enable more people to participate.
