Mary from Dungloe International Arts Festival appeals for escorts
The festival has appealed for escorts to accompany the Marys at the upcoming event
The Mary From Dungloe International Arts Festival has issued an appeal for escorts for the 2026 festival.
The escorts have an important role to play, accompanying the Marys to the various events over the 10 days and at the annual crowning cabaret.
Twelve Marys have been chosen for the 59th Mary from Dungloe International Arts Festival, which is scheduled to take place from Saturday, July 25, to Monday, August 3. Last year, Ellie Ward was crowned the 2025 Mary from Dungloe and Craig Byrne, who accompanied the Connacht Mary, won Escort of the Year.
“Could you be one of our 2026 Escorts?” The festival shared. “We are currently looking for escorts for our beautiful 2026 Marys as they begin their journey to the 59th Mary From Dungloe International Arts Festival.
