Declan Boyle alongside sons Michael and Matthew
It was a memorable season for the Boyle family of Leitirmacaward as they achieved a remarkable milestone in the 2025 Top Part Championship, taking the top three overall positions in the series.
Dad Declan and co-driver Patrick Walsh finished 1st Overall, followed by son, Michael, and Dean O’Sullivan in 2nd, with another son, Matthew, and Gary Byrne completing the podium in 3rd Overall.
This achievement is believed to be the first time in Ireland that a father and his two sons have all finished on the overall podium of a six-round championship.
