Initial garda investigations are taking place in Tullamore following the discovery of a body near the fire station in the town
GARDAI have confirmed that a body has been discovered near a fire station in Tullamore.
An area has been been cordoned off and they say initial investigations are being carried out.
A number of gardaí are at the scene and what appears to be a forensic officer.
A section of the footpath along the link road is cordoned off, along with access to a green area from the road at the Meadow Close residential area.
A number of onlookers have gathered in the area.
